One of the most beautiful Cotswolds towns and just moments from The King’s Arms, this thriving market town is a treasure trove of antique shops and stunning Georgian architecture.
The country home of HRH The Prince of Wales, Highgrove House is a stunning estate just south of Tetbury and features incredible private gardens accessible in the Summer as well as Duchy Home Farm, producers of Prince Charles’ range of organic food products.
Only 20 minutes away is the Castle Combe Circuit, one of the longest established motor racing circuits in the UK and recognised as providing the closest circuit racing in British motorsport.
Home to an internationally renowned collection of trees and shrubs, the nearby Westonbirt Arboretum is 600 acres of stunning Victorian landscapes and perfect for a woodland stroll any time of the year.
The fabulous Berkley Castle lies nearby where guests can enjoy touring the estate and visit the tropical butterfly house.
- Exit the M4 motorway at Junction 18 and take the A46 toward Stroud for approximately 6 miles.
- Turn right onto the A433 signposted to Cirencester for 3 miles which will take you to the village of Didmarton on the edge of the Badminton Estate. The King’s Arms can be found on the left.
- Exit the M5 motorway at Junction 13 and take the A419 to Stroud. Follow signs for the A46 South towards Bath. Follow the A46 for approx 10 miles.
- Turn left at the turning signposted for Cirencester for 3 miles into the village of Didmarton. We are located on the left.
The nearest train stations are Kemble or Chippenham and there are taxi ranks at both stations. Regular trains run from London Paddington.
