The
Kings Arms Inn, built
in 1652, is a lovingly
restored Grade II listed
17th Century coaching
inn, originally leased
from the Beaufort family
in 1745 at a rate of
sixpence per annum
for 1000 years. Its
location in the village
of Didmarton is just
at the edge of the
sprawling Badminton
Estate and only two
miles from Westonbirt
Arboretum. We offer
traditional fayre and
accommodation in the
idyllic Cotswolds.
The majestic countryside surrounding The Kings Arms Inn has a
heritage rich in England's love of horses, which makes the inn
an ideal base for those attending the Cheltenham Gold Cup race
meeting in March, Gatcombe Park in August and the Badminton Three
Day Event Horse Trials in May. This superb location also provides
effortless access to many nearby historic cities, including Bristol,
Gloucester, Georgian Bath, Regency Cheltenham and Roman Cirencester.
